Short answers, and where there's a limit we say it here rather than later.
Long reads about buildings and the people who make them: houses, workplaces, public rooms, adaptive reuse and the arguments around them. We publish 2 pieces a week and do not cover product launches or press events.
Yes. Send 3 sentences, not a finished draft: the building, the argument, and why now. We reply to every pitch within 10 days. If you don't hear back in that time, it has slipped and you should nudge us.
We pay a flat fee per piece and per photo set, agreed before commissioning. We don't publish unpaid work, and we don't run pieces written by a practice about its own building.
The photographer does. FRAME licenses them for the article and its promotion and credits the photographer on every image. Practices supplying their own photography are credited the same way.
Not in full. You can quote up to 200 words with a link back. Full republication needs the writer's agreement as well as ours, so ask through the contact page and say where it would run.
Tell us what is wrong and what the correct fact is. Factual errors are fixed in the article and noted at the foot of it with the date. We don't quietly edit.
One email a week with the two new pieces and nothing else. No sponsors in it yet; if that changes, it will say so at the top of the first one that carries one.
